Join our info events on zoom to find out more ! Thursday 4th March 2021 and Thursday 11th March 2021 from 7-8.30pm.
Work will start on site within a few months and the homes are scheduled to be ready by June 2022; Homebaked aims to lease the scheme to a housing co-operative - so that people renting the homes have a real commitment to the local community.
The sessions are slightly different, one explains the model, the second goes more in-depth into how we can work together to make this happen!
Liverpool City Region's Community Led Housing Hub, Breaking Ground, launches with a community led housing festival from 20th-28th February 2021.
Homebaked CLT is pleased to be contributing four events to the Breaking Ground Festival on Saturday 27th February. Each event is rooted in the values at the heart of our terrace and community, discussing the right to housing, the future of our high streets, sustainability in practice and our creative DNA. National and international friends join us to share their stories to inspire and explore the possible for Anfield, Everton & beyond.
The RED Archive exhibition, some of which we've been showcasing at the terrace, is now live at the Open Eye Gallery.
You can take a tour virtually - and if you're local, you can see the pieces displayed on our terrace.
It also shows work from the archives of our friends at Scottie Press.
It is time to celebrate! Please join us for all things hot, including art! And for some chats and quality time spent with neighbours, friends and family. Bring a friend! Bring a stranger! There will be pies.

We meet outside The Liverpool Lighthouse on Oakfield Rd at the corner with St Domingo Vale.
Drop into our new headquarters at 189 Oakfield Road (three doors down from the bakery) and let us know what you think of the plans for the terrace next to the bakery.
After the success of the refurbishment of the flat above the bakery Liverpool City Council have supported our proposal to bring Oakfield Terrace back to life. We have worked with CLT members and other local residents on design options and would like your input.
We want to refurbish the nine properties into quality homes for affordable rent that people of all ages can live in. We would like them to be energy efficient, with some work or business units so that we can support the growth of our local high street.
Every Thursday and Friday, starting from 15 February 2019
Thursdays, 10am -1pm
Last date: Saturday, 23 March 2019, 10am - 1pm
We are very proud and happy to announce that following many months of planning, sweat, dust and creativity the flat above Homebaked bakery is nearly ready for the first tenants to move in. Before they do we would love you to come and visit, have a tour and celebrate with us.
Please join us on Saturday, 27th of January, 2018 between 12noon and 2pm at 197a Oakfield Rd, L4 0UF.
We will offer refreshments.
We would love to celebrate the opening of HOMESQUARE - a public square built with love for everyone who visits our high street - with you!
Sunday, 29th, 2-6pm. Official ribbon cutting ceremony at 3pm.
There will be lovely food, chats and games, family workshops building bird houses and planters, back alley bowling, face painting, planting activities, time to meet and chat and (for the ones who dare and care) sing some KARAOKE!
Please join in and invite friends and family.
After a busy and eventful summer the Homebaked CLT trainees have finished their work on the public square next to our block. We have called it Homesquare (or alternatively Hometurf!). It is a place for locals and visitors to stop and enjoy a little oasis of nature, calm and company right on our high street. It will also be a venue for any workshops and activities that you would like to use it for in the future.
Homebaked and Collective/North West Design Work offer free places on a workshop series making beautiful objects, such as hanging chairs and planters out of unwanted household materials. You will learn about design and acquire basic skills in knitting and crocheting.

Place: The Old Post Office, 34 County Road, L4 3QH, Walton
