Join local artist Jamie Yates on a walking tour of Anfield, visiting public artworks depicting Anfield’s vibrant past, present and future.
Inspired by the changing Anfield ward boundary, this collection of artworks explores the identity of Anfield, within and beyond the boundaries created by council, geography, memory or imagination. From footballing and music heroes, to personal memories and the next generation of Anfield artists, this walking tour will take in a cross section of the richness of Anfield’s character.
Come along and walk, scoot or cycle with us! A great opportunity to get out and about in the local area and connect with friends and neighbours, old and new.
The walk will start at 2pm, meeting outside 189 Oakfield Road and take approximately 1.5 hours. Each section of the walk will take around 15 minutes, with a brief stop at each location.
